Cornell Maple Program Advisory Committee

The Advisory Committee for the Cornell Sugar Maple Program resulted from a meeting between Dean Susan Henry of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and representatives of the NYS Maple Producers Association. The purpose of this committee is to advise individuals involved with Cornell's Sugar Maple Program on key issues and needs in the maple industry related to research and extension, to help identify potential roles for Cornell in assisting producers with those needs, to convey back to producers progress in the Cornell program, and to serve as an advocate with external groups for resources to help support these programs.

Members of the committee are: Maple Producers: Harry Komrowski, Barbara Zehr, Terry & Pat Laubisch, Ray Christensen, Lyle & Dottie Merle, Keith Schiebel, Dwane Hill, Chuck Winship, Mike Hill; Cornell Factulty and Staff: Rebecca Hargrave, Michelle Ledoux, Peter Smallidge, Brian Chabot, Steve Childs.

This committee meets semi-annually.
