research projects funded by the North American Maple Syrup Council.
Legislation
The
NYSMPA speaks for New York State maple producers in Albany. For example,
NYSMPA supported the passage of legislation that makes pure maple products
exempt from New York State sales tax.

Museum
The
NYSMPA supports the American Maple Museum in Croghan, NY - home of the
Maple Hall of Fame.

Fair Booth
You
will have the opportunity to consign your maple products for sale at
the NYSMPA booth at the New York State Fair.
Festivals
The
NYSMPA sponsors several festivals during
the year to promote maple products. All NYSMPA members have the opportunity
to participate.
Education
Consumer
Guide
You
have the opportunity to be listed in the New York Maple Syrup Consumer
Guide. This Guide is a listing of those NYSMPA members who are interested
in having their name promoted to the public. The listing is done by
county and lists location, products for sale, etc.
All members are
listed on the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets
website at: www.agmkt.state.ny.us.
Membership
and Application Form
Dues
are $20.00 per operation plus $5.00 for each additional family member
listed, and include membership in the New York Maple Producers Association.
